As part of Auckland Councils commitment to safeguarding and improving our native fauna and flora especially near and around our local parks they have been running the successful Buffer Program - this means that if your home (or rented home) is on the edge of a park with special ecological value you will be contacted about sorting out invasive weeds on the property.
